The 2013 Arizona State Road Race course will be held on the same course as the 2012 State Road Race course.
USAC Permit# 2013-995
Online registration closes Tuesday, 4/16 @ 5:00 PM MST (Arizona Time)
Entry Fees: Juniors: $15. All other categories: $35.
Late Fee: $10 late fee applies to entries postmarked 4/15/2013 or later and walk-up registration (Friday, Saturday)
Packet Pickup & Walk-up Registration ($10 late fee):
·         Friday, 4/19 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm @ Super 8 Hotel in Wickenburg

·         Saturday, 4/20 from 6:30 am - 7:30 am on-site

MapMyRide links for four courses:
25 Mile Junior Course Proceed west on SR 96, turn around at approximately course mile 12.5. (West of the Santa Maria River)
Start Area: Race starts on westbound leg of SR 96 just north of Hillside. (See directions and map in Race Flyer)
Parking: Parking is available off of the roadway as designated along N/S leg of SR 96.
Course Description: Course is out and back with big rollers and climbing.
Feed Zones:
25-mile juniors will have one feed zone. All other categories will have TWO feed zones. (See map in Race Flyer for details)
Feed zones may have neutral water but please plan accordingly to help feed your riders.
All USAC Rules Apply:
·         License required (1-day = $10: Cat 5 Men, Cat 4 Women)
·         Annual license (for sale on-site: Adult = $60, Junior = $30)
·         Championships are open only to riders who hold a USAC annual license
·         Center line strictly enforced
·         No sleeveless jerseys
Wheels: Wheels In/Wheels Out. May be announced neutral if enough wheels are submitted. DO NOT COUNT ON NEUTRAL WHEEL SUPPORT!!!
Vouchers for State Championship jerseys will be awarded to the winner of groups comprised of at least 10 racers.
Half-price vouchers for groups of less than 10 riders.
Infractions will result in DISQUALIFICATION & possible loss of racevenue.
Race is patrolled by the Department of Public Safety.

From Phoenix:
West on US 60 to Wickenburg. Follow signs to Kingman until you leave town. US 93 to SR 97.
North on SR 97 to SR 96. Head east to turn-off to Hillside (marked).
From Flagstaff:
Head south to Prescott follow thru town to Miller Valley Road. Follow Miller Valley Road to Iron
Springs Road. From there, head out the old course to the turn off on SR 96 to Hillside (marked).
From Kingman:
Take I-40 east to Wickenburg turn-off heading south east.

Turn north on SR 97 and proceed to SR 96. Head east to turn-off to Hillside (marked).

We still have a high need for follow vehicles for the State Road Race this coming Saturday!!!

The first category is off at 8am and the drive to Hillside is about 3 hours - or feel free to drive up the afternoon before and hang out in Wickenburg with the other WMRC volunteers!
