Cyclists can gear up for the Scottsdale Cycling Festival with several free training rides of various lengths offered during Sundays in August/September. Riders of any age or skill level preparing for the Tour can get a head start on endurance training, get a feel for riding in a pack, enjoy the social side of cycling, and learn about bike handling skills such as gear selection and maintaining cadence.

Training rides led by the Landis Cyclery / Trek Team are offered on Sunday’s beginning at 7 a.m. The ride routes will follow parts of the actual Tour de Scottsdale course in order to familiarize cyclists with what to expect on race day.
