2011 Arizona Senior Olympics
Hello WMRC members: We are looking for volunteers for the 2011 Arizona Senior Olympics cycling events that will be held Saturday and Sunday, March 5th and 6th, on Pecos Road and 40th Street in Awatukee. We will need volunteers to help set up, run the registration booth, help at the start/finish line, the rider chip booth and to help with the basic running of the event.
The City of Phoenix helps us with the traffic control for the VOS Criterium and this is a great way for us reciprocate!!

Community Services and Charity Cycling Events
Team members donate their time and services to the community in a variety of ways. Members find it personally rewarding to be able to help others by participating in these activities. Many White Mountain Road Club members participate in various charity events including the MS150 which benefits the Multiple Scleroses Society and El Tour de Tucson which contributes to selected charities. Since 1997 the club has been the official bike patrol for the MS150 ride.
